Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Some time ago I changed my idling control motor.  Since it has been
changed it doesn't seem right. Every time I start the engine it rockets up to 2,
2.5 rpms for about 10 to 15 sec. Then it drops to .5 rpms and it feels like the
engine is going to cut out. Now, when putting in drive the van speeds up to
25 to 30 mph and shift from 1st to 2nd with no gas pedal.  Lets say I start the
van and back out right away and place it in drive before the rpms drop to .5.
While driving it will do the something and it feels like I slammed on the
brakes once the rpms drop. what is my problem?

Some new systems are designed that when the intake throttle body is disconnected that you'd have to carry it to the dealer or vendor to be reset/flashed..like the Nissan altima's
