Starter transfer into separate car?

I have a bad starter in my ford taraus 2005,, I have  
a good starter in my ford escort 1997 that I do not
use due to bad engine,, can I just put my starter
from escort into the taraus?  Thanks.

sure, they are interchangeable parts- all cars have interchangeable parts- didn't you know?
