Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When put the car in drive hold the
gas petal down and let the
tachometer get to 1 and it cuts off. If
you start off real slow on the car it
will not cut off. What could be the
cause of this?

Did you clean your throttle body, IAC and MAF? The throttle position sensor also seems like a likely candidate.
