i have a miss on cylinder 3 2002 ford taurus ses there was a miss fire on 5&6 had two valves replaced and new head but didnt do the back and compression on cylinder 3 is only 75 what could b the probl
Has it ever been hot? Could be a cracked head or blown head gasket or even bad valves on that cylinder.
I bought it from some lady and when I got it I noticed that the temp gauge was on hot but just figured no big deal but guess I was wrong and it hadn't been hot since I had it sometimes it go up towards hot for a sec or two then drops right back down but never no over heating and I can feel a slight miss when it's ideling a compression test was on at 75 on cylinder 3
75 is too low to run properly, your going to have to tear that side down to fix it. Bummer
So most likely it's prob a blown head, gasket or valve another words cause I just did the front and my mechanic was wondering why I wasn't doing the back also but I said I'm not rich lol but cool thanks a lot man I appreciate ur help just wanted a 2nd opinion
