As long as it idles perfect then it shouldnt be a vaccum leak. A clogged catalytic converter can cause a symptom like you are describing. Had a jeep that owner claimed couldnt drive anywhere. Stomp on the gas and it wont go over 2500 rpm and the motor sounds like its heaving. Was able to baby the throttle and drive under that rpm. The more gas = more bogging.
Is this the v8 or 6 cyl? It could be the TPS. This controls the trottle plate in the throttle body.
Is she a V8 or a V6?
