transmission problem

My transmission fluid just all ran out while I was
sitting at the light an it was smoking is my
transmission gone??

That is really going to be hard to say until you get the leak fixed and then refill the trans with fluid, I have seen cooler lines blow and the trans blow enough fluid out they stop working, fix the lines and drop the tranny pan and replace the screens and filters put back together and refill it and they worked fine, but you never know. HTH
