2001 Ford explorer
I have a 2001 Ford explorer and 2 years ago
I replaced the fuel pump and it was works
just fine then I noticed 5 months later my
car was starting the first time like it needed
to be primed or something and it has been
getting worse wonce its started it runs just
fine nothing wrong with that it just takes me
forever to get it started. What could it be??
Replace fuel filter check air filter clean throttle with throttle body cleaner add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.
In the morning or when you know it will be hard to start, give it a shot of starting fluid to see if it fires off right away. This will tell you if there is a fuel issue to address.
