cooling system

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Pulled into house today
Left car running idle with a/c on (1/2 speed)
Within 15-20 min car was overheating

a: no visable leaks ANYWHERE
b: no loose hoses or connections
c: thermostat is 3 weeks old
d: a week ago car overheated due to small radiator
house coming loose. Car lost alot of fluid and I
replaced with water
e:after car cooled down, and I verified radiator was
full.. I drove it in town for a bit and it never
overheated

Could be: a restricted radiator, cooling fan not kicking in as it should, A/C cooling fans inoperative if equipped, new thermostat defective, cooling system hoses collapsing during high heat operations.

Sounds like a radiator cooling fan problem. HTH. -Jim
