REALLY? Your 2006 Ford Explorer has a bad harmonic balancer, this is an awfully big failure for a car this new?

YES, my suggestion is have it fixed and SELL it... In case you were not aware,. lightening ALWAYS STRIKES twice in the same place.... I don't think these vehicles have strong transmissions... See this,. http://www.carcomplaints.com/Ford/Explorer/2006/

Place the puller back on and place under tension. Spray fitting with penetrating oil and let sit for a while. Apply more tension to the puller and tap on the pulley with a hammer. It should begin to move. Do not use a torch on the pulley in an attempt. Impact wrench/gun with impact socket as a last resort.
