Can battery for tire monitor sensor be replaced? If so, will it work normally like before without having to reprogramme?

How did you find it not working? the new one will do the same thing, no doubt. perhaps it is sized for the factory specified pressure. really not certain just how these work, I have one on my mini, and doesn't seem to do anything 'cept misrepresent.

There is not a way to replace the battery just the whole sensor. do you have a message saying tire pressure monitor fault or what is the reason for this question?
