My 2003 Ford Explorer wont crank after driving. Went back a few hours later and it cranks. Drove after cranking and now wont crank
Check the battery with multimeter. Should be a little over twelve volts. Jump start the car. With everything off check voltage again with engine at idle (this will check the alternator) normal voltage output should be somewhere between a little over 13.5 volts to 15 volts. If lower, have the alternator checked.
