OK, I'll admit I'm lazy
My 96 and 99 explorer has the fuel filter on the frame under the drivers side door. I've changed them before and have the tools. My 2003 V6 needs the fuel filter changed. Is it in the same location, or did Ford have a better idea and place it somewhere else? Will I require any additional tools? Once you pass 60 you want to climb off the floor the least amount of times as necessary.
Same place, same tools.
Thanks Tom. Someone thought it was up near the gas tank covered by a dirt and rock shield requiring a lift , stands and wrench set. If that were the case I'd be over to my friendly neighborhood texaco serviceman.
