Is this a blown head gasket?

Quite possible, but the thermostat could also have stuck or the radiator flow is restricted. I would recommend taking it to a shop you trust and getting it checked over, they can perform the tests necessary to detect blown head gaskets, poor flow.

Definetly have someone check all the radiator components. Run a diagnostic test. It pays to also have a local dealer check it with a minimal inspection fee.
