I'm trying to fix my steering column and the theft system came on and shut my car down I need to bypass it.

My 2002 Ford EXPLORER I tried to fix my
steering column and the theft system came
on and shut my car down I need to bypass
but I don't have no codes for nothing please

Usually you can use the key and lock, wait a minute or two then unlock the drivers door, if the drivers door doesn't get it then try the passenger. Is marked on the computer module Computer Module location •2002 thru 2007 is in the right panel behind the middle row window. It is below the seat belt mechanism. You have to pull out the top plastic panel off, then loosen the lower panel to be able to see the face of the computer module. The code is on a sticker on the face of the module. HTH

Note: you can't bypass it, it is integrated into the main processor's programming.
