Truck hard to drive will go in to gear

My truck hardly wants to go.if it was out of
transmission fluid would this be the case
also i have my foot to the flood on gas will
hardly go

Could be something else, like a clogged catalytic convertor. No use guessing and replacing things you don't have to. Have your local garage check it out for you.
