and shut my car down I need to

If you have the keypad on the drivers door push the 7/8 9/0 at the same time wait 5 seconds then enter the code to unlock the door, that should deactivate the alarm system. If no key pad use the key and lock the drivers door wait 5 seconds then unlock drivers door, if that don't work then try the passenger side, same procedure. It varied from year to year on what door they wanted to use. HTH
