how to use a 4wd while pulling a trailer

I have a Ford Expedition 2006 but I don't know how to
use the 4wd while using a trailer attached to it loaded
with furniture and driving on a high way.

Agreed. 4x4 should not be used on dry pavemant. Use it only in ice, snow, sand or mud.
