There is a little switch in the key and tumbler assembly, that along with the door and headlight switches all tell the chime module that key or lights are closed circuit so the chime turns on, I have seen these modules fail but also the switches, so you will have to test out the circuits before condemning the module. Has it just started to do this?

Two months ago and I have no idea on where to even check the circuit's s or even how or where the module is located

Well then your best bet is to take it to a shop you trust and tell them what problems you are having.

Can't you just use the automatic light switch position that works when it get low light out. I have never changed my switch to anything else since I got mine 6 years ago.
