my 2003 Ford Expedition is not getting gas to the fuel rail

Sounds like you're fuel pump or fuel filter. Most likely it's the pump. BTW great SUV. My 1999 had over 260000 miles on it when I sold it to a buddy of mine. It's still running and he's still my pal. I am looking for a replacement here in the Philippines where I retired to. They are available but gas is $5.00 a gallon. I miss that SUV more than some of my relatives.

Check to see if you have pressure at the connection from fuel line to the fuel rail. I am not sure what the pressure is supposed to be, but go to a local parts house (Auto Zone, O'reilly's, etc) and they can give you the proper pressure number. If you are below that, replace the pump. If there is no fuel at all, check for fuse on pump or fuel filter badly plugged.
