2006 ford escape

i have a 2006 ford escape v6 motor was
gone replaced it with a 2005 ford escape
motor v6 with only 88000 miles when
purchased  the computers did not match
so i was told so they used the 2006
computer on the 2005 engine now the anti
theft light will come on and car will bog  
and sometimes go dead today all the dash
light came on after car went dead and car
would not start does any one have any
ideas

Not sure I understand correctly, but you have a 2006 Escape and put a motor in from a 2005 Escape but used your old PCM? This should be fine. Who did the work? A mechanic? Tow it back there and have them recheck their work. Sounds like something electrical is loose or not connected properly.
