Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Ford Escape V-6 automatic .  I had the engine replaced and using the removable parts from my old engine that were okay. I was told that my computer  needs re-programed since it  is a different engine. The engine is running as good as about 90000 miles ago.

So it runs good but you think there is a problem?

No you don't have to have the computer reflashed. If there was going to be a problem you would have had it on the initial startup of the replacement engine, and it sounds like you didn't.
