Searched for: why on my 2002 forc escape after driving a block orso i hear a click then transmission shuts down then shut car off for 30/45 seconds then restare car and goes same distance shuts off then repeat whats up//

Sounds like a ground issue. Check your battery cables for looseness or corrosion first.
