In my 2003 grand Marquis once I first crank the car
my check engine light is just on and once I get up
to 45-60 it will start to blank and seems that the car
is losing some kind of power and it shakes a lil
could it be that I need a tune up?
Sounds like it. If your Grand Marquis has over 90,000 miles on it, you're due for a tune up. I'd do that first. Sounds like it's misfiring under load. HTH. -Jim
While your getting you tuneup parts have them check the codes, your looking for codes besides multiple misfire codes, those should clear up after a good tune up. and don't forget the filters. If you do have other codes see if they can tell you what systems are for.
Aright I will let you guys know how it go thanks
