I have a Ford Crown Victoria and bought an engine out of a 92 but late 92 so I had to change the transmission now I'm having trouble getting the transmission to hook up with my ECM what can I do.

You mat have to get a donor ecm,or have the one you have programmed for that year.

If the doner vehicle was a 1996 or newer it won't work in your '92. 1992 was OBD I. 1996 and forward is OBD II. Completely different computer systems. HTH. -Jim
