How do you know if the breaks are good on a mustang 2006

Take the wheel off and look at pads, they should not be thin, make sure the rotors spin as to check for a locked up caliper, although they still could hang up. Need to know what your look at.

If you feel or hear any strange noises, vibrations, or pulling when the brake pedal is pushed there's a problem. If the brake pedal goes below the accelerator pedal while stopping in a non-panic situation there's a problem. If the red "brake" light/symbol on the dash stays on there's a problem. HTH. -Jim
