how do i disable governor on 2006 mustang

A hand held tuner like SCT's or DiabloSport's will remove the governor. Just make sure you are running properly rated tires (Z or W rating) Your tires will basically fall apart if they are not rated for the correct speeds which will be above 115mph.

good point. A blowout at 125 mph is NO FUN AT ALL (if you even live to tell about it)

The speed limiter can be removed by various hand held tuners. BUT BEWARE!!!!!! The reason for the speed limiter is because of a flaw in the two piece drive shaft. It separates in higher speeds obove the limiter. The only way I would remove it is if I purchased a one piece drive shaft with the drive shaft safety loops install.

The sct xcal3 can reset you speed limiter to different speeds, and remove it.
