I need a tune up really bad, pretty sure I need new spark plugs. I wont be able to get it fixed until Friday, and I have to make a round trip drive of about 500 miles this week. will I be okay on the interstate? going speeds of 70-80..... 2000 chevy tracker

If there is no check engine light and it seems to be running okay at interstate speeds, I would go on the trip.

Take it to Autozone or Oreilly Auto Parts and have the code read. This is usually a free service. This may give some insight as to what the cause is.

ok, thank you so much! - I called autozone and im taking it after work. I have such a tight schedule today/this week that this really CAN'T happen right now! :(
