I have a 2002 HD Silverado 4WD, crew cab 8.1L Auto Trans. and It gets 10-11 mpg. When I pull a trailer its the same. I got 9.2 mpg once while pulling a 8.5 ft wide x 9ft tall with a flat front, bucking a 30+mph head wind. And I did get 13.3 once, for no reason at all. Great pulling truck. Do the maintenance and service on your transfer case and youll be on the road for along time.
