How do I get 4 hi unstuck and back into 2 hi?

would check the connections at the solenoids, to be sure there is no leakage from vacuum sources and with a tester check if signals are getting thru, THEN replace the Burnt actuator, if that is the case~


also the transmission or bearing mounts may need a bit of a fashion, as they can crack and get oil-soaked, jack the drive train up with a floorjack and look at the condition~ the u-joints too~
