what causes the speedometer to not work, then the truck not to start the next time you shut it off? happened to my buddys diesel and we dont know what happened, started and ran all day just fine.
ran all day on st pattys day, started and ran, nothing wrong with the speedometer until it got dusk out
and we shut the truck off to go somewhere, and it didnt start. just heard a "click" when attempting to
start, before we shut the truck off the speedometer wouldnt work..any ideas?
your battery connections need to be hosed off and corrosion removed...also check the freshness date on top as batteries will degrade 10% per year. Stick it on charge overnite and re-post your problems after all this is taken care of. remember wirebrush battery. all connections to the battery, the ground terminal, the other end of the ground attatchment to the chassis, and to the engine- okay!
so it isnt the starter im guessing? we tried to jump it and we just heard a click when we went to start, all electronics worked in the truck
the dead-party killer battery is sappin the life out of any effort to put the necessary amps to pull it 'round!
give it time to recover...you spent time allowing it to deaden--ify.
you are leaving it on charge...overnite? yes....
yea, im waiting to see what happens
