Bleeding the coolant system
I was told to bleed the coolant system, but I am unable to find the bleeder valve. Not even
sure just what I am looking for. Thank you.
http://www.ehow.com/how_7616745_burp-out-engine-cooling-system.html There is no 'bleeder' valve
http://www.ehow.com/how_5907814_air-radiator-after-changing-antifreeze.html Short answer, run engine with radiator cap off and heater on full, add coolant and distilled water or 50/50 pre-mix as necessary, put cap on, run a little more. Allow to cool, pop cap and add again. Repeat as many times as necessary until radiator is full to top. Plastic reservoir should be about 1/4 full cold, there are marking lines on it also
I doubt it has one. did you drain the old coolant out? why would you need to bleed the air out unless you did?
