My heater stop working on 2005 Chevy Z71 and #5 also don't work. A/C works fine but we are coming into winter months and suggesting or answers.

Check the engine coolant level and/or bleed the air out of the system. The heater block is typically fed from higher up in the overall system. Another option would be to trade it in for a Ford or Dodge... ;p
