I have a 94 Ford Taurus and it has a problem with slipping and getting stuck in 1rst and 2nd gear, someone mentioned it could have so,thing to do with vacuum attached to my motor, but I have no idea

Most likely the tranny is getting ready to quit operating, look at the fluid, if it is any color other than a brilliant red chances are high that it is burning, you can try changing the fluid and filter and then add a quart of TransX during the refill and drive it carefully for a while, if the seals are not too far gone you should notice better shifting within a week, if you don't then it is on it's way out.
