Retaining bolt for rear spindle

Asked by Aug 14, 2016 at 07:24 PM about the 1994 Ford Taurus GL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to replace both spindle bolts and no
one seems to have the retainers for them. I
am wondering since there isnt a hole c for a
cotter pin if these bolts are like self sealing?

Nope they are use once and then toss away, don't attempt to reuse them as you run the risk of them backing off while driving, if you can't find them aftermarket then the dealer is the next place.
