Battery wear

Asked by Sep 17, 2019 at 02:09 AM about the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS RWD

Question type: General

If you don't turn off radio or a/c when you cut the
car off , does it wear down the battery?

When you shut the car off, it turns those off by design. This has no affect on the battery. If you ARE having battery issues, take the truck to a car parts store and have the system checked, probably free.
