my 2000 silverado 1500 is not starting on the first try.
I have to try on the key pump gas then turn off the key. I then will turn on the key again pump gas then try to start the truck. I have noticed that it starts better in colder weather.
Have you overfilled the tank, snuffling up the gas canister with gasoline, so your computer does not know what the hell is going on? if you run it down to 3/4 tank is it still doing this?
This problem has been going on since I bought it back in June 2011. I will do this with any amount of gas in it. I have replaced the fuel filter so far and it is still doing the same thing.
did not do this at 3000 ft?
think this buggy has OBD II, get the codes read, could be anything~
