My truck won't start it cranks, has
brand new rotor and cap, has fuel
pressure, coil is testing good, I can
hear the fuel pump kick on and off,
has good spark.
Spray some starting fluid down the throttle body. If it'll run a few seconds on the starting fluid it's a fuel problem. Perhaps the injectors aren't spraying. But if it won't run on the starting fluid it's either an ignition problem (no spark) or it's jumped timing. Check for spark at the spark plugs. If you have spark and fuel (the starting fluid at least) but it still won't run it's time to do a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero, it's jumped timing and the timing chain will have to be replaced. HTH. -Jim
