How can I open hood without getting into the passenger compartment, battery is dead and locks won't open - 2006 Monte Carlo

Battery is dead, doors locked and won't open with spare fob or key -

Could break a window, or open your trunk with the key, lay down the seats, climb through, pop the hood and open the doors

strange.. your key should open it. spray some lube in the key hole and put some grease on the key and try again.

theres no trunk key slot and I don't want to break a window
