Transmission slipping

Asked by GuruXYDH Apr 07, 2017 at 10:38 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Transmission fluid is burnt...Was told if I flushed it
out it would make it worse or freeze it up...It shifts
really hard from second to third gear once the car
is heated up..

Lucas transmission fix is worth a try since you are looking at several thousand for a rebuilt transmission.
