What type of tranny can i swap my 03 monte carlo ss too? i have 22inch irocs that i love but i just need a bit more tourque. Also the motor is brand new from chevy . thanks.

Torque isn't about a "tranny" it's from a different longer duration profile cam,(284 degree) cold air intake, tube header's, MSD ignition & coils. & cat back exhaust. Start with a lower ratio ring & pinion in the rear dif' (higher numerically) like 4:10 to 4:56 to 1 posi.


just like on a 4x4, if you drastically change the overall tire size, you have to change the differential gearing to get proper performance. the problem is your car is front drive, so that's pretty much out of the question.
