no Air blowing thru vents
hey i have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS I just recently
bought 4 months ago and i notice the air or heat
doesn't blow their the vent like it suppose to it
only blow a very lil bit I replace the blower motor
and Resistor and still no luck I really need help!!!!!
ok check if there is air going to the windshield vents, or if you are getting air going to the lower legs area. If that is the case, then you have the vents that changes air direction are stuck and you are not able to change air flow direction. You will have to manually try and change the vents direction, or have a mechanic look at it for you.
yes it's air going to the legs area ...? so how do I do it manually????
Where you are feeling the air going to the leg area, try to reach the vent. There you should feel the vent louver, try to move it slowly so as not to break it. Move it easily up, down to loosen it. You will need patience, try hot air while doing it to help you move the vents, but be careful not to burn your hands too. Once you are able to loosen it, then try using the switch to change different air flow positions. Like I said it might need patience or it can be done instantly. good luck.
