How much did a fully-loaded Monte Carlo SS cost new in 2000?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I just bought one, and I'm just curious as to how much she would have cost her original
owner when she first rolled out of the factory.  I know there's regional differences in car
prices, but generally what did a new Monte Carlo SS cost in 2000, especially a fully-
loaded one?  I've had no luck with Google or AskJeeves, unfortunately.  Not sure if the
paint job was a special edition, either, but boy is she snazzy.

With leather dual power heated seats, power sunroof, and radio controls in the steering wheel? I'd say somewhere in the $22,000-$24,000 range
