Brakes

Asked by Feb 28, 2017 at 03:02 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx 4 Dr LS Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can you bleed the brakes the old fashion way or
does it have to be pressure bleed

They can be bled the old fashion way. But if air had gotten into the ABS control unit, you can bleed until the days end and still not have a break pedal. That requires a computer scanner to run a program to bleed out the ABS control unit.
