Broken Plastic Fitting What is it?

2004 Malibu Maxx. bumped into and broke off when accessing battery cover.  Car seems to be running fine.  What is this broken plastic fitting?  How much to replace?

That looks like an AC line. I would venture to guess your AC is not cold or working. You would need to replace the whole line assembly and refilled by a pro.
