Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Linden, I have the same starting problem with my Colorado
2006. How did you fix this irregular starting issue?

I had the blue and white wire under the steering column spliced.... taped both ends.... problem gone! I dealt with that issue for months.... it is caused by the passlock feature. Splicing the wire disabled it. I now have a constant light indicator on , but just put a piece of black tape over it.

There is know cable from the gas peddle to the valve body it’s run on electric and if flapper inside gets a little crud on it it won’t close or open correctly it will throw the computer off and it will cause a lot of problems including check engine lite coming on
