Your computer needs to be programmed for the maf change. You have more airflow causing it to run lean in which will allow the car to backfire while its hot.

Thanks, that makes since. Will that cause it to bog down also ???

You may need a bigger throttle body

dont know when the maf change was i just bought the car and we just upgraded the throttle body but i did notice today and this is my question because ive looked all over the nt and cant find any pics but i wanna know how many prongs are on the inside of the clip that goes from the wireing harness to the distributor i think one of my prongs are broken and that could be causing my problems because i only have 7 cant find any pics to compare it to and the guy at autozone says the clip shold have 8 any body got a pic i can see mine has the round plug any answers are welcome HELP!!!!! :-)
