Acceleration problem with my car.

Asked by Oct 23, 2015 at 11:09 PM about the 2007 Toyota Camry XLE V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I assumed my car battery died but when my husband placed his battery in my
car the crunked up. When I attempted  to drive my car home my gas pedal
would not accelerate. Do you know what the problem may be?

Check the ECT fuse, see if it's blown.

Is the CEL(Check Engine Light) ON when the engine is running? Sounds like your vehicle may be in the "Limp In Mode"
