I drive a toyota camry 2007 xle. I have noticed a slight delay in starting in the last couple
of days. It just a few seconds now but my fear is it will probably get worse. Please help
with what may be causing this as the maintenance light is not on. Also i am wondering if
a low battery in the key could cause it as i got the prompt a few days ago. The car is
"push to start". Thanks
have you done a tune up on it recently if not I would start there.
what does a tune up entail?
Well change the battery in the keyfob first. Tuneup today is plugs and filters, and clean the throttle body and inspect the PCV. How many miles? A delay in starting might be your cars battery, how old and what is the voltage? or your fuel pump is starting to fail.
the keyfob was the problem it would not turn over
