noise from the bottom of the car
I am driving a toyota camry, after parking my car for a while, say 20 minutes
and when start moving I can hear (or feel) a loud sound come from the bottom
of the car, the sound just happen one time during the first few seconds when i
drive the car and the car goes smoothly after that. It happens every time when
the car start moving after parked for a while.
What kind of sound? Grinding, rattle, squeal, clunk? If you have any squealing, it's most likely a loose belt or dry bearing.
Hi, it is a clunk sound, just one mechanic clunk sound every time I start driving the car. I can even feel it from the accerelator pedal.
Sounds like you have a broken motor mount or transmission mount. When you first hit the gas in that low gear, it puts quite a twist on the motor and transmission. I would look there first.
Did you find the problem. I'm having the same with my Camry 2010 and don't know what's the fault.
