I have 130,000 miles on my 2006 Avalon and you had said that at 100,000 I didn't need to have the transmission flushed. Car runs fine but should I consider getting the transmission serviced. Dealership where I bought the car and have had all my service done is recommending that I do.
I always like to change my transmission fluid at regular intervals.. Some say no, and drive it till it fails. In my thinking, changing the fluid prolongs the life of the trans. Do you plan on keep the car for many more years, then I'd have it serviced. You take a risk in changing it as well as not changing it. Either way, the decision is up to you, it's your car.
